A week or so ago, my APC UPS took a lightening strike and did not function as it should and the power went out and all attached devices lost power. After about a week, the UPS went into "overload" status and removing load and rescharing batteries without load did not fix the problem. Unbfortunately, I spent $72.00 on new batteries and the problem still persists. So what other options do I have? Can it be repaired? Do I have to buy a new UPS? Can I buy one without batteries?

I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Before we proceed I would like to know if the equipment attached on the UPS were damaged when you got hit by lightning. From what I can see, the UPS has took the surge and sacrificed which then led to its failure.
