We have several UPS NS600 units. We've had to replace the batteries a several of them. Unfortunately, the warning alarm will NOT turn off. Do we have to wait a couple days before trying to turn the device on? Do we need to plug in the protected devices first and then turn on the UPS? And who designed the battery connectors so there's only an inch or so of wire making it nearly impossible to disconnect and reconnect the wires to the battery?

Hi,
You should allow the battery to full charge before using and, yes, you should plug the UPS in and then turn it on.

Hi Peace,
Connect a computer to the UPS using the data cable to communicate with PowerChute Personal Edition? In here you will be able to run a self test and then the UPS should detect the new battery.
Regards,
Tom
