UPS APC Back - UPS 1100 can live a normal life with after 5 munites, UPS auto Shutdown and alarm long whitout showing the indicator light ar on, so just audible alarm whitout any lights are lit indicator.
What's the solution?

Hi,
Sorry for the inconvenience. When the UPS emits a constant tone that indicates the unit is overloaded. If there is no load and it emits a constant tone that would indicate an internal fault. Have you tried to reset the UPS?
To reset
1: Disconnect any attached load.
2: Unplug the UPS from the wall socket.
3: Disconnect the UPS' internal battery.
4: Push and hold the "On" button on the UPS for 5 seconds
5: Reconnect internal battery.
6: Plug UPS in to known good power source.
7: Turn UPS on.
If the reset procedure does not correct the issue the unit should be replaced.

Hello,
Could you please provide the model and serial number of this UPS? Also just to clarify, your UPS is emitting a long constant beep with no indicators or lights on, correct?

I have the same problem. my PC BACK UPS 1100 has this looong beep when i plug it into power source. No LED flashing in front. when i unplug it, the long beep will stop. please prompt me on my email if you have reply. thanks
