How to know if it is the battery or the UPS?

Just wondering. What happens if trying a new battery doesn't fix the UPS issue? What do you guys usually do? I know APC does restock fees for returned batteries.

Hi,

If you are concerned that the issue may be the UPS and not the battery then replace the UPS.

I cannot be sure since your avatar leads me to believe you are from Tatooine however your profile does list you as being on Earth so being on Earth you may be able to take advantage of the Schneider Electric trade-UPS program. If for example you are in North America you could trade the old unit in for a new UPS at a discount. Schneider Electric will send you the new unit along with a return shipping tag that you would use to return the old unit for disposal.
