Trade-UPS, any disadvantage?

Is there any disadvantage in using Trade-UPS program rather than purchasing a new UPS out of this program?

When using Trade-UPS program, the new UPS we get is really a brand new unit or a refurbished unit?

The Trade-UPS program offers you a discount on a new unit and includes prepaid shipping for disposal/recycling of the old unit. Under no circumstances will you receive a refurbished unit through the Trade-UPS program.
