I think I will try to install PowerChute version 2.0 just to see if it reports the correct RAM in my computer. There does not seem to be a way to uninstall version 1.5 though.
I think APC left something out. Do you just install version 2.0 over version 1.5?

As to the RAM reporting, this may or may not be applicable, but if you are using a 32bit OS it will not detect over 4 gigs, and even with 4, due to IRQ useage and memory allocation, you will really only see just over 3 - 3.5 gigs.

I used Safe Mode to remove version 1.5. I then installed version 2.0. Did not make a difference in the amount of RAM being reported. Kinda strange.

Tim, you can uninstall the PCPE version 1.5 manually by following the manual uninstallation instructions. I would recommend that you to call in APC's customer care(1-800-800-4272/http://www.apc.com/support/index.cfm) as they can provide you the steps to uninstall the PCPE manually. I hope that this helps.
