I am seeking a schematic for my Surta3000xl. I have spent hours trolling the internet searching for one but no luck. Its a shame spent $600 for the Ups and another $200 for batteries. After four months it is dead.
Someone please help.

APC Policy
Well I am sure that makes good corporate sense. Although I cannot think of many commercial products that I have purchased in the past where I could not purchase a service manual. I am not a big company and I cannot afford to give you another $1200 dollars plus shipping for a trade in.
So I guess I am on my own. Fortunately I am pretty good at fixing stuff like this even without a schematic. It is sad that companies today manufacture equipment that is un supported. Hey if it stops working you can just throw it in the trash and buy a new one from us.
Be assured any future commercial projects I am a part of will not include an APC UPS. If you can not support the people in the field using your equipment I am certainly going to look elsewhere.

Well I guess I am on my own. APC has offered to give me credit on a trade in. Should only cost $1200 plus shipping to replace it.
I guess I will either figure it out myself or it will wind up at the garbage dump
It is time to find a UPS that is better supported.

Well I looked at the ups today and found Q729, D714 and F705 blown. I guess I will change these and hope for the best.
THANKS APC

Unfortunately, we do not give out schematics for our UPS'. Though our UPS' do technically have replaceable parts, we don't give out schematics as we don't support customers replacing these components on their own.
