On page 4 of the manual is a description of how to enable/disable the audible indicators on the BN450M.
I want the unit to beep 4 times every 30 seconds when the power goes out, but I can't get it to beep.
Although the manual process to get the "Mode Seleector Color" is inaccurate, I did however figure out how to
get the amber color to appear and set as the default mode.
When I unplug the unit from the wall with my PC connected to it, the PC stays on, but the unit does not beep.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks in advance for any help

I will have to check that for sure next time I shut my machine down.
Can't do it right now. Is that a common problem?
Thanks for the reply

Does the unit beep when you press the power button? If it doesn't, I'd suspect the beeper or its driving circuitry of being defective.
