Has anyone used the SRT2200XLARM-NC with the SRT012 Input/Output hardware kit? I'm wondering if you have to hardware both input and output or if you can do one or the other.

What exactly is the objective here?!? Devices are ONLY (hardwired) if one needs to meet a specific electrical / code / standard(s) requirement.
The rest comes down to a choice by the end user and the environment the device will operate in.
UPS systems don’t move so it has very little relevance as to using a socket vs hardwired to a power supply.
