Shutdown % values

Hello there, new to APC and UPS generally, and have recently bought a 1400va BX1400U unit which appeas to work well, as mine is only powering a basic pc/router and 3 12v IP cams, I do get a good runtime from the unit on battery as the drain is only around 40w or so.

I did notice a couple of things. When doing some runtime tests with powerchute, I wanted to see just how long the perjpherals would run on battery. Sadly the first time I did the test I had to manually power down the unit as I had to go out, Powerchute correctly showed as 1 blackout of 11 mins on battery, which was about right

When I got home I retested it with 100% charged battery and managed over 2 hours of runtime. I noticed tho that the unit shut down itself at 7% charge still remaining and that powerchute had correctly recorded a 2nd "blackout" but instead of showing the 2 hrs plus runtime on battery, it still shows 11 mins total.

Just wondering why the unit shut down at 7% and why Powerchute still only shows 11 mins as time on Battery?

It tries not to run the batteries total dead, not sure if the 7% is about 2mins. of run time.
