SMC1500I-2UC reboot after AC restore

Good morning,

I have a small problem with SMC1500I-2UC . 

It is working fine with AC power connected . After I turn off input power it is still working like it should.

But after I restore input AC Power it reboot after 30s- 1 min .

It looks like whole UPS is rebooting but possible that just the screen goes off and outlets reboots 

PS It is completely new and nothing has been changed yet .

The system is completing a Self Test. This is done every time it’s first powered on. Depending upon model UPS and firmware the self test can be defined.

The default (after) power up is 14 days.

So it is working more than 2 weeks now and I have still same problem . 

Is there any way to turn it off ?

It is pretty annoying  if ups is rebooting outlets after short power cut and completely useless...

I don’t think we are talking about the same thing here. By default the UPS will conduct a self test upon first power up and 14 days there after.

Depending upon UPS firmware the Self Test can be defined by the end user via LCD Menu / Power Chute Software.

If the output power is being lost and disconnected that is (Not) related to the self test.

Show me a photo of the front and back of the UPS. Along with the production sticker of the battery cartridge.

Upload the event, data, ups logs from the UPS via PCSS to the APC Form for review.
