S15 No battery connected message...?

I just received my S15 delivery yesterday. I let it set overnight to acclimate to the house temperature. I connected the battery and plugged it in and let it set for about an hour before powering up. Upon powering up and doing the self test I got a self test abort message and no battery connected … connect battery. I checked the connection several times and it will not “register” that the battery is connected.

Connection of equipment went well. First impressions - liked the ease of setup (after figuring out the battery connection issue) and the information the unit provides. I will let you know if I have any questions. Thanks. By the way I am waiting for delivery of the H15 for my other “smaller” HT setup. Thanks again for your input/help.

After going back and trying one more time to resolve the issue I noticed that the plastic tab on the connector was bent in toward the one connection pin and would not allow proper seating of the connector. Also the battery retaining bar was slightly bent. After straightening that it screwed into place. Unit went through self test and passed.
