I just bought my first APC UPS.

Wanted to know if the LCD Display can be turned off.

Thanks! I did not receive an instruction manual with the UPS (?!). I later downloaded the PDF from the APC page and found the same procedure as you just mentioned.

i believe on mine you hold down the display button until it beeps. that is the button on the display farthest to the right. i think it might take 30 seconds to go off after you hear the beep.
