Hello,
First of all I live in Mexico, I bought my BACK-UPS 500 in the states about 3 years ago. The battery died and the software told me to order one from APC. However, its hard for me since I dont live on the US and I urgently needed that UPS up and running. I went to a battery shop and got a new battery that is identical but theres only one difference. The original battery said 12V-7.2AMP, the new one i got says 12V-7.0AMP.
I'm just wondering if this is going to be a problem?
Thanks

This probably will not cause a problem, since the difference is very minimal. A larger difference of say, 3 amp/hrs could disrupt the charging circuitry of the UPS.
APC does not support using a different battery, but chances are good the UPS will work just fine.
Thanks.
