We are having some issues with RS-800 unit. For some reason Power Chute indicates that battery wild hold less than one minute.
We only have 1 workstation connected to the RS-800 unit, no monitors, no adapters, etc.
I replaced the battery today with an original Battery Replacement that I bought directly from amazon and the software still indicates less than one minute.
I reset the unit by plugin the Unit to wall and hold the on button until all lights on the unit start to blink.
Please someone can provide with a hint of what may be wrong with mi unit.
The problem is that software is accurate, yesterday a blackout that lasted only 15 seg, force the unit to shutdown.
I am pretty sure that an RS-800 should perform better than that.
Thank you for your help.

can you disconnect the data cable from the computer and UPS and unplug it from the wall, maybe with a non critical load, and see how long it lasts without any software intervention? seems like it needs a calibration to recalculate the runtime so that the software works correctly. especially since you got a new battery. if that doesnt fix it, then it seems like somehow the unit got corrupted if the calibration wouldnt fix it.
if the pull plug shows that the unit runs longer than a battery and no software intervention, i'd let it charge back up for an hour or two and then do a complete discharge with no USB cable attached until it turns off and then let it charge back up and see what the software reports afterwards.
