Powerchute v9.2 and SMTP settings for gmail?

Hello,

Has anyone had any luck getting smtp settings to work with gmail's smtp?

Using powerchute v9.2

I have
smtp server = smtp.gmail.com
port = 465
ssl = checked
basic email authentication = filled out

Hi,

I have tested with both SSL 465 and TLS 587 form my home network and received e-mails at my gmail account.

One note: I will not receive e-mails when I am connected to my companies network. The ports are closed.

So you received email at gmail but did not use smtp.gmail to send it?

No. The SMTP server was set to smtp.gmail.com
