PowerChute Serial Shutdown install error

Hi, 

I'm trying to install the PowerChute Serial Shutdown, but i'm getting a not found error. 

OS:

Linux Servidor 5.15.0-124-generic #134~20.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Tue Oct 1 15:27:33 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux]

Has anyone faced a similar issue or could provide guidance on how to resolve this? I'd appreciate any suggestions.

You’ll need to consider using third party software like NUT / APCUPSD.

It looks like you are trying to install on Ubuntu. PowerChute Serial Shutdown officially only supports Red Hat and Suse Enterprise Linux. See compatibility chart. Ubuntu definitely will not work.

As an alternative to Ubuntu, it should work with free AlmaLinux. The install.sh script will not work, but you can install directly with rpm:

rpm -ivh pcssagent-1.2.0-301-EN.x86_64.rpm
