PRTK Code Problem

Yes,
I have a BackUPS Pro 1400 APC UPS hooked up to my computer. I also have an ULTRA BP1000A UPS hooked up to the same machine (for peripherals). I plan on using the UPSMon software as it's the only software compaible with both UPS's. Each of the two have a serial port for monitoring via desktop computer and I have the right APC cable for the BackUPS Pro. I need the PRTK code in order for the APC UPS to communicate with the UPSMon software.

I contacted the APC staff via support ticked and I was told that the codes are proprietary even though I OWN this UPS unit. I purchased it online.

The PRTK code is NOT printed on the back, BTW.

PLEASE HELP!!!

If you have the right serial cable (940-0020x) of the Back UPS Pro unit, I would suggest you to use the [PowerChute Business Edition|http://www.apc.com/tools/download/index.cfm] and install the Agent for better monitoring of the UPS, instead of requesting for the UPSLink Language.
