Noise from the BK650EI

I hear very irritating noise from my BK650EI. It is constant buzz with "click" every 5 seconds.

I have it for about a year, and I think it wasn't making any noise at the beginning. It is not always, but it appears it is more and more often (and louder) - in last few days it is all the time. it can be heard when it is both when it is plugged in and when it isn't.

What can be wrong, or is that "expected"?

Hey Igor,

What lights are on the front of the UPS when it is making a constant buzz? Could you please reconnect the battery to the UPS and check if that makes difference? Does the UPS pass a self test?

In my opinion, buzzing noise is not a normal operation of the UPS. Could you please call in the regional Customer Care Center for further troubleshooting on this issue? They can issue an RMA for you if the unit is found defective through the troubleshooting steps.
