I decided to test my BX1000 today after quite a while with no events. It is powering my main XP Pro machine and
says it is supplying about 275 watts total. It thinks it has about 7 minutes of uptime, which I have recently verified
as being quite close to correct.
I have PC Personal Edition, latest version installed. I have it configured to hibernate after 1 minute. I pulled the plug to test.
Sure enough, it hibernated just like it should.
However, after I plugged back in, powered up again, restarted system, and went back to status display, the status
showed the battery still going down, 68%, 67%, 66%, and then BOINK, power off, "ungraceful" shutdown.
The status display did indicate that power had been restored, as it no longer said power coming from the backup, but rather from the
utility power.
Gee, that's not exactly what we're looking for now, is it?
What's up with that?
