New Back-UPS xs 1300 good bye xs 1500

I had a Back-UPS xs 1500 with external battery pack (4500va :>) for years and loved it. It died yesterday and when I took it apart I found the circuit fried, battery cables corroded. It has been about 4 years since I replaced batteries and knew it was time. Thank Goodness I use APC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It saved my system and shut it down before dying. 10+ years on a system is not bad. normal load of 450-500 watts. The only thing I miss now is the battery time. Use to be about 45-60 min. on battery, now with only 150-200 watts I get 25 min. This was the largest one best buy (only guy in town with APC of sizes)

APC - you need to make a home/single user system again with external battery packs. I some times work or play at things for hours and do not have a stopping point (down loads, up grades or to much fun :>).
