Hi,
I want to know whether the power consumption that is been displayed in the Back UPS Pro LCD panel is showing the power consumed by the connected devices or is it showing the total AC Power draw of everything connected to the UPS. I am pretty confused because I had the understanding that a PC SMPS which is say 70% efficient might be consuming 450W but the power draw from the wall socket may be around 600W, so I want to know whether the LCD Panel is showing the total AC Power draw from the wall socket or is it showing the active power draw from the connected systems only.

The UPS always shows the load power only.
If its any help, I upgraded the PSU in a machine here recently from a 10 year old unit to the latest garb, and efficiency went from about 82% to about 92%. A measurable drop in watts at the wall, so they're all far better than 70% and some are up in the 90's now.
