Multi Smart Ups on a single battery system?

OK, can I run multiple Smart Ups 1400 on a single 24VDC batt bank. We have a large 24VDC storage system for our solar and wind Genny's. running it up to 120VAC, then back to 24VDC add so much loss!

I have no problem hooking up multi storage cell to a UPS, the issue is multi UPS to one storage bank. Is there a way of disabling the chargers. That is more my concern.
