Newbie question: I’m on my second day with an APC Model: BN1500M2.
Is it possible to keep the LCD operating and visible continuously?
{I learned quick not to goof with the power button to make it work: it also shuts off everything if I’m not careful!}

The information is in the users manual. You should have gotten.
Power Saving Display Mode.
The Left Button "Display". Hold it in for two seconds. The display should turn on and the UPS should Beep. To go back to power saving mode. Hold the Display Button in for two seconds and the display goes off and the UPS Beeps.

Thank you Brian. Your instructions worked perfectly.
I have also registered this one and downloaded the user's manual.
Yup, it is explained on page 4.
