What is the difference between a UPS and Line R when it comes to the power conditioning/voltage regulation? Also, when APC states that plugging a UPS into a surge protector does not add extra protection, can anyone explain why? They say if they are both apc products that it will not void warranty but does not add extra protection. Why wouldnt the surge protector protect the ups from damage if surge protector is between Ups and wall?
