I know its old battery needs to be replaced due to its red lights and tests, but I can't right now. Its beeps are annoying. I know they can be muted temporarily from APC's PowerChute Personal Edition in Windows with the USB cable, but they don't last forever. I still want to use the APC UPS as a power surge protector for now (having no backup battery power is OK for now since I don't have important electronics on them). 😞 I will re-enable the beeps when its old battery is replaced.
Thank you in advance. 🙂

Hi Ant,
Beeps or Alarms can be disabled through the Powerchute Personal Edition software and it will be permanently disabled once you make the changes in the Powerchute software. This has been tested in my lab. Have you tried to disable the alarm through the Powerchute software?

As Vinay has stated the audible alarms can be disabled through the PowerChute Personal Edition software, however the Replace Battery Indication is a critical alarm. I do not believe the BE750G allows for critical alarms to be silenced. You could try disconnecting the internal battery and attempt to silence the alarm through PCPE, however I'm not certain that will work either. This would depend upon whether or not the BE750G deems the Battery Disconnect indication as critical or not and would need to be tested.
