Help! APC Back-UPS ES 700VA - cut off automatically the power? I am stupid?

Hi UPS experts,

I am a freshman for the UPS world so maybe my question is stupid..

I've purchased APC Back-UPS ES 700VA, and then I run the test:

- UPS is 100% charged. -
1. I plug off the power cable and UPS works in battery mode. - OK
2. I wait the shutdown event is triggled, and UPS shutdown the system. - OK
3. I plug on the power cable and start the machine. - OK
4. And ... Miracle happens. after about 1 minutes. The PC power is cut off by the UPS, the signal light become orange with a beep for 0,1 second. The UPS is restarted!

I have repeated 3 times the test. UPS restarts about 1 minute after the power cable is repluged.

Is this restart designed for every UPS? I feel really confused.

After the computer safely shuts down and power returns, the UPS is designed to turn the computer back on. It does that by cycling the power off and on. If you manually turn the computer back on before the UPS finishes this process, it will cut power to the computer.
