Hi y'all,
I'm working in Kabul, Afghanistan and we have many APC UPS working well around our compound.
However there is one shiney new Smart-UPS 750 which does not work.
I've searched around and I'm kinda at a loss of what to do about this.
We run on 220 Volts
when I plug it in, i can feel kinda an energy in the unit when I put my hand on top of it.
The lights on front do not illuminate.
SUA750ICH
Serial number is:
QS1003226402
Made in Philippines
Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Adam,
First and foremost I would like to inform you that I am supporting the North American region and do have limited knowledge when it comes to voltages that is not being used in our region.
To help you out, let us make sure that the voltage that is being fed into the unit complies with the standard. The unit requires ~230V AC 50/60Hz, make sure that the input is properly wired. Next thing would be is making sure that both the internal and external battery connectors are plugged in. Next step would be unplugging the UPS from the input source and while it is off press and hold the I/Test button. While you are holding down the button you would normally hear a short and a long beep. As soon as you hear the long beep, release the button. Upon release this should make the UPS turn on by itself and ran on battery.
If the UPS still would not work or if you are hesitant to do the steps, I highly recommend contacting our support team for Afghanistan. I have posted their numbers below.
