Failing BX1000G

The BX1000G operates normally on power. When briefly disconnected with a light load attached it shows upwards of 300 minutes of standby. However when left disconnected from power the unit beeps and powers off within a few minutes. Serial number 3B1215X37745.  Is this just a battery replacement needed, or do you have other suggestions?

hello , if you never changed the battery is time to do it , that unit has like 4-5 years and the battery life is about 3 years , probably is just the battery ,
