FAULT ON SURT8000XLI

This was originally posted on APC forums on 7/20/2011

here is my problem, my UPS SURT8000XLI . it goes sometimes on and sometimes on bypass normal.
I explain: when I switched on after booting, it passes on the bypass and goes back to the normal, it behaves like this all the time.
I need help.

alrighty. sometimes certain types of non-linear loads can cause this type of fault on the UPS which i had decoded. i believe this UPS will need to be replaced or repaired if it is under warranty unfortunately. i dont think that we can fix it 😞

what problems on the cards? and what do you mean by "cards?" here in the US we have one certified repair place or we have to replace the entire UPS. i am not sure what is offered in your region?
