can anyone tell me why only half the outlets would work on the above models after about a year to year and a half. I've had it happen on 4 or 5 of them. I've tried pressing the reset button and that doesn't work.
thanks in advance for any assistance.

I just had this same thing happen to me. There is power at the surge outlets but the unit will only operate on battery and the battery is so low that the computer goes directly into hibernation. I plugged my cpu directly to the wall and it works fine there. The unit is a BE750BB and has been in operation for about 1 1/2 years with no problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
What is the exact model and serial number off of the units? Are the outlets you are not getting power through the Battery Backup and Surge Protection outlets, or the Surge Only outlets? Have you made sure the internal battery is 100% secure and connected?
You may want to try what we call "cold starting" the UPS. Have the UPS unplugged from the wall power, and make sure the internal battery is connected. Leave it unplugged and push and hold the On button. You should hear a short beep followed by a second longer sustained beep. During the second beep, let go of the On button and the UPS should operate on its on battery power. Try plugging a small load, like a lamp or alarm clock, into the Battery Backup and Surge Protection outlets in this state. Make sure you are getting power out.
Plug the UPS back into the wall AC power and make sure those same outlets provide power. Then try the Surge Only outlets with the same lamp, alarm clock, etc.
Let us know if any of the outlets are still not providing power.
Thanks.
