I'm having a problem with it. Every time we have an interruption in power, this thing starts a loud continious beep and simply won't stop until I shut it off (using the power button), which is stupid because it causes a forced interruption in my power. Other than that, it still functions correctly, the back up battery gives me plenty of time to shut stuff down and all that, so I'm not sure why it's doing this, but it has done it since day once. I tried reaching out to customer service after I had gotten the unit, but I had gotten very poor answers from them and I had forgotten about it until the next hiccup in power.

Since the unit functions properly aside from the continious beeping, it's just made me think it was a very poor design/build and APC probably shouldn't have released it.

Is there anyway to get the beeping to shut up? I KNOW when I lose power, I don't really need it to yell at me until I come hold it's hand and change it's diaper.

Please provide the exact Back-UPS model number. We have offered a few different model BE350s and each have specific features and benefits. Know the exact model will help us offer the proper solution/s.
