Differences in BR1500MS and BR1500MS2

What are the differences between the BR1500MS and BR1500MS2?  Is the BR1500MS2 a second generation of the original unit?   Are the electronics better than the original unit?  Thank you in advance.

The difference between the BR1500MS and BR1500MS2 is internal components and firmware. The MS2 is an updated version of the MS. The features, i.e., output, outlets, battery pack remain the same.

I'm getting a model BR1500MS2 shipped to me as a warranty replacement after 2 BR1500MS units burned up and died in less than a year.  I hope this "new and improved" model works better.
