My unit is dead as a doornail. No lights, buzzers, or anything. Are there any service centers or places to obtain a schematic?

Apc offers trade ins on all ups units and not just their own. Any manufacturer, size and condition, working or not, in pieces if misfortune should have it. If I were you that is the route I would take. You can get credit on a new unit with a warranty and new batteries and in turn do something good for the environment. If you had a smart ups of the same capacity then I might tell you to try and fix it but that unit stinks in the monitoring department, ie. no smart capability at all and most users of that model have been less than pleased with its overall performance. I found one at the dump this weekend and will be turning it in to Apc for credit, along with a few other abandoned ups units. The cost and time associated with fixing that particular model and models similar to it are prohibitive and since Apc will take your old ones in trade for free then its a win win situation.

Coastal Business Machines is an APC authorized repair center. http://www.cbmi.com is their website.
APC does not provide or post schematics because they are proprietary.
