APC PowerChute Personal Edition

Same Problem of "Unable to communicate with APC Battery Backup etc" keep coming. I am really fed up with this problem. I have tried all the suggestions made here in this form on other threads related to this issue. Nothing is working.
Don't we have somebody from APC monitoring this forum? If so, then what on earth he or she is doing? We are many have this problem. I have few questions:
What PowerChute is suppose to doing?
Do I really need the PowerChute?
Can we get a free replacement of ES750G?

APC is currently working on finding the solution to the problem and will of course push that solution out to users. It is a top priority.
