Cryptic Smart UPS C1500 Configuration. What do these codes mean?

The Smart UPS C1500 has a very limited screen, so the cryptic configuration names are expected, but I cannot find any information in the manual about some of the configurations. Specifically, I want to calibrate my battery and enable smart connect control.

SE.0 -> Performs a self test when set to SE.1, I am pretty sure

P9.3 -> Sensitivity setting

dP.1 -> Unknown

cP.0 -> Unknown

Gn.0 -> Green mode (0 off, 1 on)

rc.0 -> Unknown

rb.0 -> Unknown (Has a battery with X symbol. Unknown what this is)

cod -> This switches between multiple codes, but I left it as this because I have no idea what any of the other codes mean

FU.1 -> Unknown

This UPS also only has 3 buttons, power, mute, and display. To enter this config menu you have to hold both the display and mute buttons. Mute changes the setting on-screen, and display increments through the menu.

I've searched between multiple editions of the manual for this unit and have not found full information as to what all of these codes mean. Wondering if anyone else here has any idea?

Additionally I am seeing a L.02 code which means battery must be replaced. Just replaced the battery, so assuming that I need to now run a calibration or something to get this code to go away. Knowing the configuration will let me do this.

I have appended the user manual I believe you are asking about for this APC UPS. On page 11 calls out how to enter the configuration mode. On page 13 calls out how to enable the Smart Connect remote commands and also reset the battery replacement flag.

You should be able to enter the battery installation date via APC Power Chute software too.

To properly inform the system a battery has been inserted follow these steps:

- Update the battery installation date if available in PCBE / PCSS / LCD. Doing so resets the counters and charging tables if applicable.

- Self Test: Manually initiate this via LCD / PCBE / PCSS and let battery come back to 100% and online state.

- Battery Calibration: Initiate the battery calibration via the PCBE / PCSS software if available with at least 30% attached load on the outputs of the UPS. Let this process complete and battery to fully charge and show on-line.

Doing so will ensure the LCD / Power Chute software will reflect the operational runtime when on battery only mode. Keep in mind the value displayed is an estimate and does (NOT) reflect all possible environmental conditions such as load, battery health, SOC, etc.

Awesome. Out of the 4 manuals I found online, none were as descriptive as this one. Thanks!
