Constant Beep and Red Flashing light near power switch Back-UPS350

Very frustrating product.  I bought it primarily as a surge/brown out protection, however, it's more of a nuisance than the (now very stable) power service from Duke Energy in the Raleigh, NC area.  My power is now very stable and has been for a long time living in a suburb of Raleigh, NC and after owning this Back-UPS 350 for a couple of years I finally Yanked it out of my Media/entertainment room and have disconnected the battery to take it all to the dump this Saturday.  I'm FED UP with the random (no surge or brown out present) Constant beep that you cannot reset without powering off the entire unit (and Entertainment/Surround/Cable/TV), this is ridiculous!  I've used APC equipment Professionally (in I.T.) for nearly 30 years with no annoying complaints and great service/long life.  OBVIOUSLY a big difference in Commercial grade equipment and consumer grade...  This is the 4th or 5th time since owning the unit that it's done this and it ALWAYS happens when we're in the middle of a good Cable movie or DVD.  I'm done, Heading to Belkin !
