Good Day 🙂
We are looking at the following product: APC Back-UPS 1400VA 230V AVR Australian Sockets UPS
We are wanting to:
Does the Powerchute software work with this device, and is the above possible? For example somehow the UPS would need to reset itself once the power has restored so as to compuletley cut power to the devices so they would reboot. We do not need battery life, only to gracefully shut down then restart devices for very small network.
Thanks for your help. Existing UPS we have does not reboot devices, which is why we need to check. If not do you recommend a device that can do this? I see there is not many UPS from APC for Austalian Sockets.

Hi,
What OS are running on the PC and the Server? Also, do they have serial a serial port?
Most NAS have built in shutdown utility. You would connect the NAS to the UPS via USB. It should recognize the UPS and then configured for power down.
