I bought a UPS BX1000M recently to connect to my NAS 923+ .
My wall outlet is far away, and more than the length of the provided UPS input power cable.
Can I connect a Tripp Lite make power_strip1 (TLM615NCRA) without affecting my product warranty?
Please note that the Power_strip1 has a circuit breaker but not a surge protector.

The User Guide simply calls out the unit must be connected directly to the wall outlet. It does not say an extension cord can not be used on this specific model UPS. Having said this, it’s assumed the device will be connected directly to the outlet by the supplied OEM power cord.
The power bar extension you listed is 15 only feet in length while using 14 AWG wire.
Given the relatively small UPS that’s fine to use. The voltage drop at 15 feet @120VAC is negligible. You should however block off and denote on the power bar the other outlets can’t be used including the other 120 VAC outlet! You also need to identify what else is on this 120 VAC branch circuit (assuming it’s not a dedicated outlet) so there’s no surprises when someone fires up the stereo, iron, etc.
If you feel spendy you could have also purchased a 12-3 AWG extension cord which is more than enough to supply current at the short distance you seek.

Thanks for your response! The reason for the necessity to connect to the Wall Outlet is to ensure that UPS is grounded , The Ground pin from the wall is directly mating with the ground wire of the input power cable and hence to the ground of the UPS device internally for it to function correctly. I don't think there would be voltage drop for that short a distance of Approx 15 feet.
My understanding is that the power bar (which MUST not be a surge protector) MUST be wired in such a way as to extend the Ground from the wall outlet to its ground wire directly. My question is to check if this is OK to use the power bar which seems to be wired this way as explained to not VOID the APC warranty.
And Yes you are right, I MUST ensure no other device is connected to the power bar than the APC UPS to cause any overload issues.

From a legal perspective I don’t believe APC Corporate would reply affirming its OK to use an extension cord. As the device was tested and certified with only the OEM cord set. In doing so this is how they passed and received cUL, ETL, CE, CSA, certification. On a more practical note given what you stated I would not expect to see any problems with how the unit operates since the main purpose was to insure proper grounding.
Regardless, should a warranty issue arise I just wouldn’t mention anything to do with the extension cord! 🤣
Rock On . . . 👍
