Can't remove battery from Back-UPS RS800

I'm surprised to be asking this question as I've replaced batteries on many UPS systems in the past, but the first time on this model.

The battery just won't come out on its own, and I have tried pulling on the disconnected cable to see if that would help.  Have left it sit idle for over an hour to let it cool down in the hope that maybe as it cools the battery case would shrink slightly and make it easier.  No luck yet.

Don't want to break the UPS case itself by trying to use something to "dislodge" the battery.

Thoughts?

SHort of taking the ups apart - maybe try a little shot of nonconductive penetrating oil on the battery case and wiggle it out with a screwdriver ?

open cover for ups and remove battery (all ups cover )
