I have a couple of smart-ups RT 10000 ups'. They currently have 12v 5ah batteries in them but they are winding down in strength. Can I replace them with 4.5ah batteries? I know there will be a degradation in the length the machine will stay up (15%?) The cost locally here for a 5ah battery is double the price of a 4.5ah battery. I just want to make sure the ups won't be damaged if I put in 4.5ah batteries.
