I was running my NS1350 when a breaker tripped for the room it's in. It's happened before but powered back on just fine. (The house wiring shows to be okay in the PowerChute software.) I wasn't home, but the unit ran until the battery was about exhausted and shut down my PC as expected. However, when I tried to turn it back on all I got was a quick flash of the display and nothing else. I made sure the battery was at 100% and it still won't power on. I bought this unit in August of this year. I've done the following without any change:
I only have my Dell desktop, 2 USB drives and one monitor plugged into the UPS. It never shows it's close to overloaded in the PowerChute software. If I press the silence tone button I get a single beep, nothing else. I did a Self-Test twice the day it happened and they showed OK but two days later and the self-test says "Unable to carry out self test at this time" after running to the end. I tried Google and APC forum searches but didn't find a similar problem. Is the unit defective or am I missing something? -Thanks.

I wonder why there isn't more info on that resolution on the web.
