Got an overload warning that shut off my UPS with my PC getting shut down with it. PowerChute never shows me using more than about ~33% wattage potential. I had connected a PC and Xbox One and two LED monitors. Even if there was a massive draw from my PC's PSU, the overload should be a temporary condition right? The CB was not popped. Battery terminals are tight and no leaks. No matter what I do I cannot get the UPS to clear the fault with nothing plugged in and on different outlets. I bought this unit 5 days ago and the battery is less than a year old. I have connected a laptop with PowerChute and it says that the UPS is overloaded anytime AC is applied and unit is on. Is there a way to know if it requires service? As it stands it is apparently defective, or my battery is defective. There was no obvious event that should have caused this (storm surge with lights dimming, etc) and even if something happened, the UPS should be designed for exactly that right?
What should I do? Already sent a quick email via the PowerChute interface but got no confirmation, so I'll probably open one via the website directly.

Bought P/N BE850M2 in the US. I won't post the serial in a public forum. It is not used. Feel free to PM for the serial, your profile is private and I am unable to message manually. I emailed support as well but they have not replied other than asking me to power cycle yet again.

Hi,
If the unit is new you should call technical support at 1-800-890-4272. E-mial support will also help but that can take longer. If in fact the load is only 33% it should not overload unless there is a large draw caused by hard drives, video card, etc.

Thanks. About a year ago I got my unit replaced through FedEx directly from the company with a new model that has worked fine ever since.
