I have a Back-Ups XS 1500 and for the last few days its been acting funny, every thing seems normal it says the power coming in is 120v and only has a 320w load on it. Whats happening is the fan kicks on and two things blink on the display "Sensitivity" and a triangle with " ! " in it will blink, it is not running on battery while its doing this and I can get it to stop only by powering down or running self test. Eventually after a while it will start again and will not stop on its own. Another thing I noticed today is that it seems to have trouble charging, when I ran the self test it said it passed but the battery went down to 28% and it seems to be taking a long time to recharge. This UPS is only about 2 years old could the battery be bad already or is this some other problem?

Another update
I tested the UPS I hooked up a few fans to it about 90W and unplugged it the battery indicator went down to 0 bars within a minute but it ran for about half an hour before crapping out. I then pulled the batteries and one had 10 volts and the other had 12 volts, the one with 10 volts was hot on one end so it must have a bad cell.
