Back-Ups ES 700 after battery replacement.

Greetings. Recently (a week ago) i've replaced battery in my Back - UPS ES 700 and its been working fine up until now. It seems it can't pass self-diagnostics for some reason - when it tried to run it, UPS switched off and produced constant beeping sound until i pressed "start" button. Only my monitor and my system block switched in "battery backup" outlets, so it doesn't seem overloaded. Circuit breaker didn't pop. LED didn't blink - it was black. PC switched off.

I have two questions:

1) Why this issue might be happening?

2) How do i switch off sounds completely? Switching them off in PowerChute doesn't help 😕 Maybe theres a way to manually disconnect sound board inside unit?

Can you tell us what was the indication from the unit that made you replace the battery? It'll also help if you can provide us the model and serial number from a small white barcoded sticker from the unit(you may also send this in private). Are you using an genuine APC Battery?

Heys. Well it has been couple of years since i bought it, my serial number is - 5B0751T11753 and you can read my old thread, where i was recommended to replace battery because of the same issue here:

I won't lie - i bought "Sven" battery instead, though i specifically ordered the battery as close to original as i could find -12V 9Ah.

Utilization of battery's is a real issue here, you can't, for example, replace original old battery with a new one with discount, like in states. In fact - its easier and almost cheaper to buy new UPS.
