Back UPS XS 900
Windows Vista
PowerChute 2.1
My UPS has begun going to battery backup power every 5-10 minutes consistently for the past several hours. This just started for no reason (as far as i can tell) today, and it has been working fine for the past year since i originally bought it. It only stays on battery for maybe 5 seconds. The duration is so short it doesn't even show up in the log events for PowerChute. However, it keeps doing this, over and over. It has passed an automatic test, and a manual self test (through the software).
My desktop PC and monitor are plugged into the UPS but i am nowhere near the limit for the capacity. Right now, according to the software i am using about 250 watts of power out of just over 540 watts available. What can i do?
