Hello,
I just bought a new Pro 1500 and after installing the batteries and powering the device on, I had the battery icon with the X flashing. I found a YouTube video that documented the resolution, since this status icon is not at all documented in the user manual.
Anyway, after resolving, my estimated run time says 18 minutes, even though load is 35% and battery is showing 100% charged. I've searched and read some posts about doing a battery calibration and, again, I do not see those instructions in the manual!
Can someone please explain how I go about doing this battery calibration?
Thanks!

Hi Nusaram,
The typical procedure for a run time calibration is to have greater than 30% load connected to the UPS and unplug the UPS from the wall. Be sure to have disconnected the data cable from the PC prior to performing the Run time Calibration, as the PC may initiate a shutdown of the operating system and UPS prior to the Run time Calibration completing. Once the UPS completely exhausts itself, you may reconnect the unit to utility power and leave it turned off for 12-18hrs. Upon powering the unit back on, you should notice an increase in available run time. If you do not at this point, I would suggest contacting your local SE Technical Support line as the battery may be defective and require replacement.
