Back-UPS NS 700 chirping every two seconds with red light, battery recharge/replace?

Hello, forgive me for being a bit illiterate in technological terms. My family bought a Back-UPS NS 700 (of this specific variety) several years ago and have since lost the manual. The UPS is now in my possession. I have viewed the manual for a similar model, but the situation I have is not exactly the same as any of the status indicators offered. It is beeping/chirping every two seconds or so, and the light is rapidly blinking red. Does this indicate that I should let the battery recharge, that I should replace it, or something else?

hello Jenny , that sintoms indicate that you need to change the battery , the batteries need to be changed every 2 - 3 years ,
