My brand new (replaced a month back) back ups es 650 isn't giving me more than 3 mins backup on 115 W load.
I purchased this set 2 yrs ago and the first one worked fine for about a year and a half. Then it started failing the self test so i called the service centre and they replaced it with a new one. The new one worked for 4 months before is showed battery problems too. As i was still in the warranty period I managed to get it replaced last month. I ran the test everything and it gave me 15 mins backup the first week. But that gradually reduced and now it gives me less then 3 mins. Friends staying in the same area use the same model and dont have any complains. We sometimes do have a low voltage in our area- around 170V..
What could the problem be? I asked the engineer if it was a battery fault with the old one but he didnt say much then..
Ive tried charging it for 12 hrs without load after resetting it but that doesn't help. The pcpe3.0 shows 100% charged when on ac power but only shows 4 mins estimated time.
The self test is passing for the current unit..
What are my options. Should i go for a new one or change the battery. i ran out of warranty this month.

Satan89,
If you reduce the load, does the runtime goes up? And is the 3 minute runtime the actual runtime that you are getting when you let it ran on battery?
