My Back UPS XS 1300 keeps losing connectivity to my computer. The error message that I get is that the computer isn't connected to the battery, yet it is. Another thing that occurs is, I lose connection to my Razer Mamba mouse. It usually happens after some time of the computer being on. This is very annoying. I just uninstalled the software but I haven't been sucessful in finding a newer version of it, if there is one. What could the problem be?

Good day Reinaldo,
Please make sure that the UPS communication cable is directly connected to a USB port on your PC. We've had customers who are using USB hubs and they've experience loosing connectivity/communication with our units. Make sure that your computers USB drivers are updated as well.
If you are using a Microsoft based Operating System, you can install the latest PowerChute Personal Edition Software. Please consult the compatibility chart if your operating system is supported prior to installing our software.
